Embossed Leatherette. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Slight yellowing of page edges, but book block clean and tight. Some wear of spine edges and corners but soft green leatherette binding is embossed with a hand and bowling ball. In this age of computerized bowling this is a nostalgic history with lessons, in bowling before bytes. A quaint description in the foreword says, "This history of bowling . will . amaze some . will heighten the respect which the game has earned by reason of ifs fifteen century-old exsistence . but perhaps the most unique features of the manual are the illustrations, produced by the motion picture camera ." Tipped in "stills" of motion picture frames add to the uniqueness of this book. 194 pgs. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Hard Cover.
