Mild shelf wear, a bit rubbed at corners and spine extremities, with front cover decoration bright and intact, lightly soiled cloth on rear cover. Original brown cloth hinges intact. Front flyleaf shows several creases and slight fore-edge chipping, text block edges toned by age. Interior generally clean and intact, with some leaves midway through text block showing light staining in upper binding margin, not affecting text. Text in Swedish. Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Book.

Blue cloth, illust. on frnt cvr in blk, gilt & red (mnr chppng hd & ft of spine, mnr bmpng to crnrs, edgewear), still a VG- copy, from the library of A.[nders] G.[ustaf] Bergman (b. 1865), a painter in Astoria who immigrated from Stockholm to Astoria in 1891, and later for 5 years lived near Cannon Beach. First edition of this lavishly illustrated travelogue through Sweden at the end of the 19th-century.
