No direct mention of homosexuality, at all. Author is identified on the title page as "Ex-president San Francisco German Medical Society," amongst several such, and datelines his brief preface "381 Bush St., San Francisco".

Dust jacket illustration of nude houris lounging upon clouds is color faded; very small chip at head of spine; not price clipped (Net $1.50); rear panel has a couple small scorch marks; in an archival mylar sleeve. 91 pages. Dr. Victor Robinson's essay was written in 1910 and first published in 1912. This is his revised and enlarged second edition of 1925. It explores the history and lore of hashish and describes some contemporary experimentation, including colorful reporting on its effect upon users. Victor Robinson (1886-1947) was a Ukrainian-American physician, medical journalist, and a professor of medical history at Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia. A collection of his papers is held at the National Library of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland.
