Luks prided himself on being the "bad boy" of American art and often invented stories to make his life more colorful. His main style was realism, but he experimented with impressionism and post-impressionism. Includes a 10-page essay by Judith Hansen O'Toole, bibliography, chronology, large plates, and the catalogue of 28 works (mostly oils).
