Heavy spotting to the backstrip; small, light moisture stains in the bottom margins of a handful of the pages; text block cracked at the rear. One in a privately published limited edition of 100 copies. This copy is inscribed by the author on the front flyleaf: "To____/ of the Rhode Island Chapter / of Partridge Shorteness / with best wishes from / G. Grouse ' Goreham L. Cross.".

Also, reminiscences of bass and musky fishing in the St. Lawrence River, duck shooting at Cape Cod and landlocked salmon angling in Lake Sebago.
