First printing of the 1966 edition, slipcased three volume hardcover set, all of the books have a slight lean to their binding, bumps to their spine ends, and a touch of wear to their fore edges. Overall, this is a solid, bright, Very Good+ set in Very Good dust jackets, which all have sunning to their spine, bumps with some areas of creasing and tearing to their spine ends and corners, rubbing with a few small smudges, and a hint of edge wear, while Vol. III also has a few stray marks at the tail of its spine. Set is housed in a Good+ slipcase, which is unevenly sunned, has bumps to the corners, light wear to the edges, rubbing with some smudging to the panels, and mild wrinkling to the paper at the tail of the rear panel with some flaking at the head.
