Published by Avenel Books
Seller: Ebeth & Abayjay Books, Lima, OH, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. R. Caldecott (illustrator). Hey Diddle Diddle and Other Funny Poems was written and illustrated by R. Caldecott. The book was published by Avenel Books, perhaps in the 1960's, and does not appear to be a First Edition. It's not an ex-library copy and is in good condition with a child's signature on the front paste down end page along with a little adornment. On the front loose end page there's a note, in orange, that says "Damage Noted: Torn Up Spine" . . . but it sure looks okay to me. It has no dust jacket. The book is 5 1/2" by 7 7/8" and has 62 pages with a Table of Contents listing Hey Diddle Diddle, The Milkmaid, Baby Bunting, and the Fox Jumps Over the Parson's Gate and black-and-white and color illustrations throughout the book. Thank you!.
Hardcover, no dust jacket. Ex-library, worn cover, heavy foxing, penciling. 472 pp.
