Penny's shop is at the "alternate and grungy" end of "trendy fashion" Chapel St (no 38) , Windsor and home to 3 cats, and 35,000 books ranging from children's games to war, westerns to science fiction, true crime to natural history. ( she also has a couple of china frogs ) Trading since 1993, she opens midday until 5.30 every day. ( 61 (0)3 9530 2222 ) David has been trading since the dark ages. He moved in 2005 to his new shop which is at 668 Glenhuntly Rd Caulfield Sth, (61 (0)3 9523 6686) and houses himself and 80,000+ books ranging from cookery to games, politics to biography, history to philosophy with lots of fiction also. ( 14 bookcases of paperback science-fiction, 5 of cooking, 6 bookcases of crime fiction, 12 bookcases of Literature ( Penguins, Picadors, Faber etc. ) The shop is open from 11 a.m. until 5.00ish. every day except Tuesday.
