About Picture Book Cottage

We specialize in children's picture books created during the Golden Age of Picture Book publishing ~ from 1940 through 1980. Our stock consists of only good or better condition, collectible children's picture books. We do not sell former library books and NEVER sell book club editions ~ these are simply RARELY collectible in our humble opinion. We promise that the edition, condition and binding listed in our book descriptions are accurate and truthful with all flaws disclosed. All dust jackets are de-acidified to prevent foxing. If foxing is all ready present, the de-acidification halts further browning. All jackets are protected in archival grade Brodart sleeves. We are members of the Association of Booksellers for Children. That really doesn't mean much, it just looks good. We welcome any questions or comments about any aspect of children's picture book collecting. We also buy collections ~ from one copy to thousands. Contact us through the abebooks link. Bookstore Terms

Returns accepted 10 days after receipt for any reason. Buyer pays return postage if item was not accurately described.

Shipping Terms:

We mail orders Monday through Saturday ~ often within 24 hours. We package most carefully to protect against damp weather and postal abuse.
