Book Description Hardcover. Condition: New. More details will be added when they are available "Airliner" was shot on the tiny caribbean island of St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies, despite the islands small size, and with only a few flights landing every day, it has the busiest airport (Princes Juliana) in the whole of the caribbean. Even the Airbus A340 and 747's land a couple of times a week. The images that were shot on an old Hasselblad SWC on the beach and around the bay at the end of the runway. These images certainly have a strong impact, although I do find them a little unsettling, the rest of the island may be beautiful, but I think this is one place that will not be on my list of Holiday destinations; unless I was on route to an island somewhat quieter.
