English summary: The specialized field of dermatology is taken as an example to show how prevention works. An interconnected, multi-level concept for prevention has been established by an interdisciplinary working group at Osnabruck University. The group dealt with science-based prevention in the health system taking skin diseases as an example. Their work was recognized nationally and internationally and received various awards. Throughout Germany, some models of this working group were even put into practice in workplaces where employees are exposed to situations hazardous to their skin. Prevention in dermatology is increasingly integrated in Germany's complex social security system. This book is a report of the work of the Osnabruck scientists group between 2003-2008. German description: Rechenschaftsbericht uber den Zeitraum 2003 bis 2008 einer interdisziplinaren Arbeitsgruppe der Universitat Osnabruck, die sich einer wissenschaftlich begrundeten Pravention im Gesundheitswesen exemplarisch am Beispiel berufsbedingter Hauterkrankung widmet. In diesem Zusammenhang sind vernetzte, mehrstufige Praventionskonzepte geschaffen worden, die nationales und internationales Interesse gefunden haben und mehrfach ausgezeichnet wurden. Modellvorhaben der Arbeitsgruppe wurden mittlerweile im Interesse von betroffenen Beschaftigten an hautbelastenden Arbeitsplatzen bundesweit umgesetzt. Zunehmend werden praventive Anstrengungen in der Dermatologie zum Motor in der Integration des Fachs in unser verasteltes Sozialversicherungssystem.
