Co-compounds and coordinate compounds are two macro-types of coordinating compounds. In fact we speak of complex concepts of two lexemes that have been combined by the process of word formation. The interesting phenomenon about these two coordinating compounds is the difference in the meaning of the cojoining parts. About the Author:
Born in Meiningen, Thuringia, in 1989 I attended various schools in Hesse from grade 1 to grade 10. My affiliation to the English language increased due to my three-year school career in Johannesburg, South Africa. Having studied English and Mathematics at the Humboldt-University of Berlin I created this work as my bachelor thesis in 2013.
