Dafur werden Bedeutung und Verbindung von Metropolen, Netzwerke von Auftraggebern und Kunstlern untersucht, beginnend mit der Regierungszeit Kaiser Karls IV., uber einen Schwerpunkt in der englischen Kunst bis hin zu Untersuchungen zur realistischen Malerei der Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts.
