The poetry of Jason Hardung exists in the marrow of his bones—coursing through his bloodstream as bad memories, broken dreams, and monsters that keep him awake at night. Pens and pencils are exploratory tools in the hands of Hardung to extract poetry from the marrow—writing is making an incision in the flesh and letting the blood spill out. THE NAMES OF LOST THINGS is a work of genius, the literary equivalent of human vivisection—a triumph of the human spirit to adapt, overcome and endure! Wolf Carstens, Epic Rites Press
