After Bright Young Things rocketed to success in September of last year, the series now continues with its first collection of poetry by young Welsh writers.
Bringing you Blown magazine poet in residence M. A. Oliver, Sion Tomos Owen, Christopher Tower Prize winner Anna Lewis and John Tripp Award-winner Mab Jones and poet Alan Kellermann, 'Ten of the Best' is the first collection of its kind.

From representations of urban life and drug addiction to critically-acclaimed verses from the stage, this book distills diverse and innovative poetry into 'Ten of the Best', the brightest of what's on offer by young poets in Wales today.

Review:
"This fresh and contemporary collection of poetry is a welcome introduction to some of our most promising young Welsh poets. . . . "Ten of the Best" handles modern life, pathos and biting contemporary comment with wit and style." Gareth Ludkin, "Buzz Magazine" (December 1, 2011)"

"An evocative record of a lost age. . . . unmistakably heartfelt." Stephanie Cross, The "Daily Mail""

"Katherine Stansfield's debut is a poignant and intricately crafted story of love and loss, picturesquely and memorably set on the sea-coast of Cornwall." Stevie Davies, author, "Awakening""
About the Author:
S.T. Owen: Tudor Bevan Award winner and runner up in the Young Welsh Writer's competition, the lead singer and guitarist in 'The Pine Barons'. They are violent and self-mocking, yet vital and attentive.' - Rachel Trezise Anna Lewis: winner of the Christopher Tower Poetry Competition, the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award, and the Robin Reeves Prize for Young Writers, has been selected tor the Scritture Giovani literature exchange project. Mab Jones: John Tripp Award winner and superb performance poet who beat Gillian Clarke, and four other poets, in a slam at Folklife Festival in Washington DC.
