Storlax - Hardcover
Storlax was first published in Icelandic in a shortened version, in 2004, where it topped the children's bestseller lists for many months. It has since been rewritten and developed into the story that Meadowside is proud to publish this year. It is first and foremost an epic children's story, a story of intense adventures, endurance and tenacity, unity and fear, told with great humour, optimism and warmth. But it also serves to gently inform the reader, not just about the life of the salmon, but also its plight at the hands of what our heroes come to know as "The Shadows".
