The rescuers named him Fillmore for the street he was found on in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Fillmore was brought to the Washington Animal Rescue League in Washington, D.C. He stayed there in his big new cage, sniffing the animal smells and admiring his big feet, “Neat, neat, I’ve got big feet!” After two years, a family came to adopt Fillmore and he moved again. Fillmore finds some more adventure at his new home and as always keeps his store of food up, sniffs the air and loves his big feet! A wonderful story for children.
