James L. Conyers, Jr. is Associate Professor of Black Studies and Sociology and Chair of Black Studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He is also Courtesy Associate Professor of History at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
Alva Barnett is Associate Professor of Social Work and Black Studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
