About the Author:
The author, Linda J. Hawkins, attended Western Kentucky University and received a two-year degree in children's literature from Charter Oak State University in Newington, Connecticut. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators (SCBWI), the Kentucky Writer's Coalition and the Butler County Writers Group. She believes children learn best while having fun. This philosophy is evident in her delightful writing style.
