About the Author:

Richard had long cherished the idea of writing fiction ever since, while still a child, he attended an English Literature event with the author, Leon Garfield. He has also been closely involved with the theatre, in London's West End and beyond, working closely with such luminaries as Kristin Scott Thomas and Michael Blakemore. Richard is currently working on his fourth novel, which will be available soon, while his first novel, "The Cryptic Lines" has been adapted for the stage. Following the publication of his second novel, “Order of Merit”, about a professional hitman, Richard has been asked numerous times whether it was written from his own experience. Naturally, he is not at liberty to answer such questions(!) A native of the Lake District, he now lives in a leafy suburb of south London, but still relishes the occasional opportunity to ascend some of the more remote Cumbrian mountains!
