About the Author:

Miranda Jackson is a seventeen-year-old senior at GWCCAT, where she studies under the prime of Literary Arts. At Carver Center, she is an editor for the newspaper, Catalyst. She has won seven Scholastics Art and Writing Awards, as well as two ACT-SO awards for her personal essays. She resides in Baltimore, Maryland with her twin sister, Alexandra, and her mother. By next fall, she plans to be attending college at the University of Maryland College Park to earn a degree in Journalism.
