I have received some of the most interesting information on "Hennies," &c., from a gentleman well known under his nom de plume of "Game Cock," whose kindness I take this opportunity to acknowledge. I may add that had I not been frequently asked to write something of this kind by several fanciers, this monograph would probably never have appeared.
