M Alton Headley was born in Sylacauga, Alabama, USA. Mike is retired and lives in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico with his wife, Kay. He also has a home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He previously worked as a Project Manager internationally in industrial and commercial electrical construction. Mike writes children's books, and poems and you can read his poems and other thoughts at www.viejoamericano.wordpress.com. Kay Epps Headley was born in Dallas, Texas, USA and grew up in the small farming town of Ferris. Kay has a Bachelor of Science in Art Education degree from Abilene Christian University, a Master of Science in Art Education degree from Texas A&M University Commerce and studied Art Therapy at the University of Texas Arlington.
