Review:

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for personally inviting me into your family and your world, and into the "depth of your souls." I am honored and feel privileged to have read this heartbreaking, yet relentlessly inspiring story. Linda and Tony, you have done a brilliant job in weaving your innermost and vulnerable parts of your world for me to experience, and for all readers to experience the roller coaster ride of your life... the good and the unbearable."--"Nancy Lorenzano, Ph.D., The Lorenzano Group" ""Resurrecting Anthony" is inspirational. It made me choke back tears. It made me renew my commitment to be a more dedicated professional educator. It made me renew my focus to be a better husband, a more patient father, and a more caring grandfather. Indeed, it left me with an overwhelming sense of humility. It made my worst days seem mundane and trivial." --"Glenn Alexander, Superintendent of Clermont County Ohio Educational Service Center "

""Resurrecting Anthony" is an unforgettable story of turning tragedy into triumph. Tony and Linda Cole's unyielding determination in the face of adversity will resurrect your courage!"--"Roger Crawford, Author of How High Can You Bounce? and Think Again!"
""Resurrecting Anthony" touched my heart. Not because of the pain and emotion that he and his family have experienced, but because of the lessons he teaches all of us. Know what really matters; accept everyone; find joy at being in the present and remember that every day is a gift." --"Walt Gerano, Independent Consultant"

""Resurrecting Anthony" is a source of power and inspiration for everyone. It is a story that opens your eyes and heart to the fragility of life and the reality that, in a blink of an eye, life can change forever. You feel the dedication, acceptance and love of a devastated family and their courage to face reality. "Resurrecting Anthony" will help you appreciate, accept and value every minute of your life."--"Ralph Pim, Author of Perfect Phrases for Coaches; Associate Professor & Director of Competitive Sports, Department of Physical Education United States Military Academy at West Point"
""Resurrecting Anthony" was so inspiring I couldn't put the book down! "Celebrating Anthony" would have been an appropriate title, too. Anybody who was a kid, has a kid, or wants a kid will find more meaning per page than you can get from any book on parenting. People throw around the term, "life's too short" without any concept of how true that can be and your story paints a picture of the term with an exclamation point." --"Dave Kurlan CEO, Objective Management Group, Inc."

""Resurrecting Anthony" is a true story that will carve itself into your heart forever. Amidst the worst of crisis, Tony and Linda never lose sight of the fact that life is a gift - an important lesson for others facing challenge and maybe even more importantly, for those of us taking our day-today lives for granted. I loved this book."--"Keith Ferrazzi, #1 NYT best-selling author of Who's Got Your Back and Never Eat Alone"
"Powerful lessons in letting go, being present, failure, belief, goals, perseverance, and making the toughest of decisions - expressed in a way that can only be shared by parents who have eighteen months to save their child. It's a story I shared last night around the dinner table with our own children. Thank you Linda and Tony for this honest account of your family's journey with your son."--"Verne Harnish, Author of Mastering the Rockefeller Habits"
"I want to thank you for the gift of your words in "Resurrecting Anthony". You touched me on every level. Yours is a love story as deep and rough and terrible and joyous as there is. Where did your strength come from? How did you not stop, not give up, not quit? Powered by love - that I know." --"Tom Redmond, Redmond Group, Inc."

"Life changed forever for the Cole family the day their son Anthony suffered from a life threatening heart condition. This is a powerful story of love and courage. Through every setback and emotional challenge, Tony & Linda demonstrated an unwavering inner strength and passion necessary to bring their son home!"--"J. Paul Brophy, Author of Zero to Sixty in 9 Years"
"'Eventually God spoke to me. Anthony is going to make it. But there will be a price.' These words set the tone for a sensitive and beautifully written account of the journey taken by Linda and Tony Cole in dedicating their lives to supporting and rehabilitating their son Anthony. From my role as a district support person I had the privilege across time of seeing and experiencing their commitment to establishing goals, setting priorities, and ensuring that if they couldn't "fix" Anthony, they could continue to create joy and provide quality of life. As shared, "To live in this particular moment in time, to focus on loving and connecting with those important before they are taken from us, or we from them... perhaps that is Anthony's lesson for us all." --"Laurel Frank, District Support, Sycamore Community Schools"

""Resurrecting Anthony" greatly expanded my awareness of my heart and soul. It gave me the gift of greater appreciation, and more commitment to what I value most. I experienced light beamed deep into remote parts of my consciousness, often bouncing on my conscience; leaving me resolved to change some of my own behaviors."--"Paul O'Kelly, Founding Partner of O'KellySutton, Offaly, Ireland"
""Resurrecting Anthony" is beautifully written and very insightful. I recommend this book to anyone dealing with a child with special needs or who has been faced with traumatic circumstances beyond their control. Being a mother of a child with Autism, this book helped me see that men and women process loss and emotions differently. I know God will use this book to help bring families together, to help restore marriages and to help health care professionals like myself understand the obstacles that our patients and families often face." --"Rhonda Fecher, RN, Children's Hospital Medical Center"

"An inspiring book for anyone who is experiencing crisis in their lives. "Resurrecting Anthony "offers us hope, teaches us to never give up, and shows how to summon the courage from within to conquer our challenges. Most importantly, this 'must read' book reveals that no matter what you are experiencing you are not alone. A truly heartbreaking and motivational story."--"Aleta St. James, Author of Life Shift"
""Resurrecting Anthony" is a story that will touch any parent. Linda and Tony Cole walk us through the anguish and small triumphs that redefined their lives. It's raw and unblinking in its honesty, pain and tenderness. Discover what this family came to realize: there may not always be an apparent reason, but there is always a way through tragedy." --"Anita Williams, Co-founder, Imagination Works, Inc., Author of 60 Second Referral"

"An unsparingly honest log of a father's life after his son undergoes a cruel brain injury. If this family can survive and stay upright, you can do anything."--"Victoria Moran, Author of Creating a Charmed Life"
""Resurrecting Anthony" is not just the story of Anthony's brain injury and rehabilitation. It's the story of the journey traveled by Tony and Linda as they changed directions and grew as individuals and as a couple. Every time I wave to Anthony as he is being wheeled by our house, I am inspired by his resilience and determination, and by the Cole family's courage to dream a new dream. Every teacher and every parent who faces life with a child with a disability should read this book!" --"Karen A. Matuszek, Coordinator of Special Education Services-Archbishop Moeller High School"

"I want to thank you for the gift of your words in Resurrecting Anthony. You touched me on every level. Yours is a love story as deep and rough and terrible and joyous as there is. Where did your strength come from? How did you not stop, not give up, not quit? Powered by love - that I know."--Tom Redmond, Redmond Group, Inc.
