Introducing our 'hero', Detective Inspector Malinson. A rapid rise through the ranks, his love of paperwork and his lack of toleration of even the slightest misdemeanour making him perfect for the police. At a certain point however, his career stalled, and from being a shining example to the younger officers, his became a cautionary tale. Whatever you do, don't be a Malinson. On secondment from Copenhagen police, is the girl who liked to say "wow," Lorna Lundqvist Detective Sergeant, Denmark Rigspolitiet 'Sharp and bright, like a dagger in the sun." Together they are faced with a series of increasingly bizzare murders and a killer who seems to hold a mysterious grudge against the University in general and Malinson in particular..

About the Author:
Robert Bridge was born and raised in Oxford, England and following a period of military service he studied at Cambridge University. He has pursued a variety of careers in finance, business and consultancy, and now travels extensively, teaching entrepreneurial and life skills to international audiences. "The Girl Who Liked to Say Wow," is his first novel, and is a distillation of many years spent observing and writing about organisations and the people caught within them, with a sardonic but affectionate eye. Robert is married, with two grown-up children, and divides his time between homes in Britain and the French Alps. Like the hero of his novel, Robert revels in the detail and trivia of everyday life, and the way that they enrich our imaginative landscape. Unlike Detective Inspector Malinson, he can't dance. He is currently working on his second D.I. Malinson novel. His publishers are looking forward to bringing you his next book, in 2013, if he returns from the ski slopes in good time. Robert Bridge is a pen name. He holds deep secrets and can afford no risks.
