This is the true story of the Crusader, the revolutionary jet propelled boat designed and developed for him by Vosper Ltd, the well-known Portsmouth Shipbuilders, and of the trials on Loch Ness, in 1952.
Barry Stobart-Hook, a former Director of Vosper Thornycroft, had access to all the original files on the project.
The book is illustrated with over one hundred original photographs and drawings. Although containing much technical information, it is written for the layman, and will be of interest to anybody who likes fast boats or speed.
