Having escaped from the corrupt Enclave, Gaia ventures into the wasteland with her baby sister, Maya, hoping to find a settlement that's rumoured to lie in the Dead Forest. About the Author:

Since earning an MA in writing seminars at Johns Hopkins University, CARAGH M.O'BRIEN has published a number of romance novels for adults. Currently, she teaches high school in Connecticut. Her first novel for young adults, BIRTHMARKED, was published in 2011.
