This weekend was the most unforgettable of my life. Despite shattering my windshield minutes upon departure for the event, the 9 hour drive was made and the ensuing images are with me forever. A man turning sideways in a hotel hallway so that we could pass him and his 4-foot wide goatee. A man sitting alone at a breakfast booth, facing his 3 companions as his sculpted beard left no room on his side. An elder Italian gentleman wearing, for no apparent reason, a sombrero and a billowing cape embroidered with the silver word "MEXICO."
