Having spent a good deal of time in South America (the site of an early treasure-hunting adventure and where I quite naturally set one of my popular SuperRomances for Harlequin), I've always been fascinated by the country's licit and elicit German connections. SS MANN HUNT's subject matter all the more timely when considering how often, even these days, the Aryan-nation politic seems to rear its head on an international landscape. I have to admit to having found it more than a little ironic that two of my main characters, each taking on a life of his own, decided upon the very homosexual life-style so frowned upon and persecuted by Hitler and his Nazi/SS cohorts.
