Anne Conover, a Stanford University graduate, now lives in Washington, D.C., where she has held editor/writer positions with the U.S. Information Agency, Johns Hopkins University Press and The Library of Congress. As a freelancer, she contributes frequently to major U.S. newspapers and magazines; is the author of several womens biographies.
