Lyman Tower Sargent, PhD, is Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and a visiting fellow at the University of Oxford and New Zealand's Victoria University of Wellington. His extensive academic career also includes fellowships and visiting professorships with some of the world's most prestigious universities, including Princeton, University of Exeter, University of East Anglia, and the London School of Economics and Political Science. Dr. Sargent is a well-known author of many books and articles on political theory.
