Some people think Dancing With Mermaids is a thriller - it has even turned up on Crime Lists. This is a great pity. The novel is actually a comic romance set in the remote Dorset seaside town of Rams Horn. It includes a lot of rude romps, a short social history and a recipe for sausages. It was written as an antidote to the murder and mayhem of my first novel, The Sandman.
