L'intelligence et le naturel de son jeu y furent généralement goûtés dit l'éditeur de ses oeuvres dans une Préface historique placée au - devant. La Reine eut la bonté de lui dire, elle - même, qu'elle le tmuvoir bon et qu'elle le recevoir. Il fut en e&°et reçu le lendemain et avec distinction. Le Public de Paris ne se croit pas toujours obligé à souscrire en matiere de goût aux décisions de la Cour mais dans cette circonstance la Cour et le Public furent d'accord.
