Book Description:
The best of William Blake's poems in a beautiful new gift edition
About the Author:
William Blake was born in 1757 and was apprenticed to an engraver. From his early years he had visions which were to influence his poetry and his personal mythology. In 1803 he was acquitted of treason, after which he began work on his most famous poem, JERUSALEM. Much of his work failed to find a sympathetic audience among his contemporaries, and he spent his last years in obscurity. He died in 1827.
