About the Author:

Carl Vogel is President of Vogelbilt Corporation, a research, engineering, and development company for alternate fuels and alternate-fueled vehicles. Vogelbilt also supplies alternate fuels and is in the process of building a renewable fueling station. Vogel previously worked for Curtis instruments, a pioneer in solid state motor controllers for electric vehicles. He teaches at SUNY Farmingdale and is the author of Build Your Own Electric Motorcycle.
