About the Author:
Mark Fuller is the chairman of the Monitor Group, which he cofounded in 1982. The Group currently competes in three different business areas: general management consulting, principal investing, and intelligent products, such as software. Formerly, Fuller served as an assistant professor of business administration at the Harvard Business School, where he taught courses in strategy formulation and implementation, as well as industry and competitive analysis.

John C. Beck is the co-author of 2 critically acclaimed books, The Attention Economy with Tom Davenport and DoCoMo with Mitchell Wade. His third book, Got Game, will be published in 2004 (HBS). A founding partner of the Northstar Leadership Group, Beck is a Visiting Professor at the Anderson School of Management at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Prior to founding NSGL, Beck was an associate partner and Director of International Research at the Institute for Strategic Change for Accenture.
