Oblong engraving on laid paper; Christ is kneeling on the ground, blood dripping from his wounds, to the right the scourge lashes with which he was tormented; at bottom signed in the plate "Abraham à Diepenbeke deliniavit. Cornelius Galle Iunior sculpsit. Martinus vanden Enden exc. Antverpiae Cum privilegio". 13,4 x 25,9 cm.*Hollstein, Dutch VII, 63, No. 15a. Only state. From a series of two engravings. - To the right large repair in blank part of the engraving. Lower and left margins just trimmed outside plate mark; upper and right margins just trimmed inside plate mark; foxed; fold in the middle; on verso pencil drawing and old annotations in pen.[(6207)].
