Signed by Byung-Hun Min on limitation leaf. A beautiful portfolio bringing the careful eye of a botanical artist to the common weed. "Mr. Min, born in 1955 in Seoul, is a self-educated artistic photographer starting from the early 1980's.Through his favorite objects such as 'Trivial Scenery', 'Eye', 'Sky', and 'Weed', he has continuously indulged himself in exploring 'light'. It is noted that the light he has consistently preferred is of a rather neutral tone than a clearly contrasted light and shade. Due to this tone of light, his shots often tend to be vague with ambiguous boundaries, and even imply a nihilistic inclination sometimes. Perhaps that would be a mysterious charm of his works.
