One 5.75 in. x 4.75 in, National Geographic Society condolence card signed by Grosvenor (President of NGS) in blue ink. Sent to the Straus family in 1936 following the death of Jesse I. Straus. Condition is Very Good with mild age toning. CL Consignment. Shelved in Straus Autograph binder. Jesse Isidor Straus (June 25, 1872 - October 4, 1936) served as the American ambassador to France from 1933 to 1936.
