Contains the first appearance of the Harlan Ellison short story "Memory of a Muted Trumpet". Magazine signed in 11 places by then Associate Editor Ellison; apparently next to every article in the issue that he wrote or had a hand in. In it's heyday Rogue was a men's magazine, fashioned as a competitor to Playboy, that, in addition to the usual pinup photography featured serious journalism and fiction, including a healthy amount of science fiction.
