About this Item

- A superb glossy 10 inch high by 8 inch wide black & white portrait of the brilliant stage & screen actor in three-quarter profile from the shoulders up. Attired in a dark turtleneck with a lighter colored jacket, Brando, his head tilted down, looks up through shadowed eyes. Inscribed and signed in full by Marlon Brando in blue ink at left of the portrait. The photograph is creased with substantial damage along the edges with has been attractively matted out with a cleverly cut gray mat. The letter "W" in "Best Wishes" has been rubbed out from wear. Despite its flaws, this is a nonetheless attractive example of a rare signed portrait tastefully matted in a silver-toned frame.
