1936. First Published in GB. 288 pages. No dust jacket. Signed by the author. Red cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Signed by the author with dedication on front free endpaper. Mild cracking to bottom edge of rear hinge. Board is slightly loose, but still attached. Binding remains firm with occasional mild cracking to gutters. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed with slight markings. Noticeable tear to page 287, text remains legible. Faint thumb-marking throughout. Top text block edge dyed with small water drops. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and noticeable rubbing to surfaces. Strong tanning to spine and edges. Small splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be slightly frayed. Faint water staining with noticeable black marks overall. Book has a slight forward lean. Seller Inventory # 1674030496MHP
