Ex-library but with the usual treatments being limited to a stamp at the top edge of the initial page and a stamp on the pages' top edge, a small label on the page opposite the frontispiece, a rear circulation pocket, and a call letter label taped to the the spine's tail. Inscribed on the verso of the free front end paper to 'Col. W. F. Cody (Buffalo Bill) / With best of wishes' and signed by the author. Handwritten on the front paste-down is 'Wm. F. Cody / 1910' and handwritten on the recto of the free front end paper is 'Mary Cody Rector / 2982 Lafayette St / Denver' While noteworthy, particularly since the stated address was the address of Buffalo Bill's sister and where he died in 1917, Seller does NOT warrant the authenticity of the signature of either Buffalo Bill or that of his sister based on Seller's layman handwriting analysis and insufficient provenance. As for the text (102 pp.), it is mark free, complete and securely bound. Green cloth with gilt lettering on the upper board. Lightly rubbed in the extremities and with very light surface rubbing.
