1888. Fine etching on paper. In lower right corner signed and dated in the plate "K. Wibmer, 88". 29,5 x 21,6 cm.*Very probably a portrait of Karl Wibmer's wife and his baby daughter. The Austrian genre, landscape and portrait painter Karl Wibmer (from Marburg an der Drau, nowadays Maribor in Slovenia), married in 1888 and got a daughter. See on him: Thieme-Becker XXXV, 505-506. Probably a proof print, below the image are a few small parallel etched lines. - With margins, in top partly cut to the plate-mark; waterstain.[(6168)]. Seller Inventory # 6168
