First and limited edition (numbered 385 of 1000), privately printed in 1905, quarter-bound in brown cloth with light-brown boards, is in Fair condition, having much wear to boards; gilt lettering on spine has faded, and there is a scuff-mark over the "tez"; bumped and worn corners with edge wear; wear to top and bottom spine, with slight fraying at top; in both endpaper sections the hinge areas show where the fixed endpapers have pulled away from the staples holding the text together; pages 11 to 12 have tears to the bottom right corners; some scuffing marks on some interior pages; some normal age-toning to pages. THERE IS AN INSCRIPTION BY DOLORES CORTEZ ON 2ND PAGE AFTER FIRST FREE ENDPAPER (see photo) written in faded-red or pink ink, and dated 1905 or 1906.
