Tan paper over boards with dark brown cloth overlay on the spine with white lettering on the spine and brown lettering on the front board; Paste down cowboy illustration on the front board. Tan endpapers. 150 pp 12mo. The author was an Oklahoma rancher, poet, and Poet Laureate of Oklahoma. Cowboy poetry came to the author in 1973 as therapy from The Salt Fork of the Arkansas River flooding his ranch headquarters. This discovery caused a leak and out came his experiences, observations, thoughts, and beliefs all in poetic form. This is the author's second book. A clean very presentable copy.
