15" x 12" Bristolboard card with The Old Oaken Bucket done in fine calligraphy. The caption at top reads "To Messrs Doherty Bros. Respectfully Inscribed. A pen and ink drawing of a young boy dropping the oaken bucket into the well with gilt border. Elaborate floral border decoration. A charming putto at the base bearing a banner reading "In remembrance of our home. "Executed by John C. Crowley Boston with Pen and Ink at base. Reverse is blank. Border stains and additional small area of discoloration. Note on reverse Rebacked by W. Torrey Lutter, Marshfield 2/21/78. Seller Inventory # 26017456
