Faircopy of the complete poems typed on 8.5 X 11 inch 30 lb tan stock. Inscribed by Eberhart with his Hanover, NH address. "For _ I enjoyed you as audience thoroughly in Philadelphia in 1982. Please give my warm regards to Lou McKee. I am glad to sign this for you. It's 40 years old. My new book, THE LONG REACH, is just out from New Directions. With best regards Richard Eberhart." Fine condition. Louis Mckee is the author of the collections "Schulykill County," "Near Occasions of Sin," "The True Speed of Things," et al and was the publisher of "The Axe Factory Review" and the founder of Banshee Press. This poem and "The Groundhog" are Eberhart's most often anthologized poems. Eberhart was awarded Yale University's Bollingen Prize for distinguished achievement in American poetry, the Pulitzer in 1966, the National Book Award for Collected Poems, 1930-1976 and the Frost Medal from the Poetry Society of America in 1986.
