Signed in pencil in lower right corner. 19,8 x 26 cm.*Joseph Bernhard Einsle was a well-known German portrait miniaturist, gouache painter and aquarellist. He worked in Augsburg (1796-1829 with interruptions), Göggingen (1806), Konstanz (1810-1817), Freiburg im Breisgau (1814), Lindau am Bodensee (1815) and München (1820). He had commissions for a portrait miniature by the King of Württemberg and many other important customers. - Fold in the middle, somewhat foxed, ink stain in top.[(6140)]. Seller Inventory # 6140
