The first of two SCRAPBOOK volumes which belong together, offered here independently in order to show as many images as possible of representative contents of each. Compiled by a young boxer in 1935, from newspaper reports and photos, cartoons, drawings and entries in ink in his own handwriting, devoted entirely to the contemporary boxing scene-both amateur and professional. A 'CANVAS' series no. 3 lined notebook with 240 pages and bulging with content from beginning to end. Internally the contents have pulled away from the spine cloth at front, still attached at rear, and still securely bound, with just one loose leaf. There is some minor foxing and age-browning to the contents throughout, but they remain predominantly bright and clean. Obviously created by someone with a deep interest and passion for his sport, and will appeal to anyone with a similar interest in the sport of this time.
